The playground is free to use and adjacent to Muddy’s Café along the Esplanade. Muddy’s is a splash playground with the following components:

Key future considerations

• Budgeted major upgrade to Muddy’s Playground at a cost of $1,800,000
• The facility could benefit from addressing the leaf rubbish from the adjacent Tamarind trees
• Consider installation of safety fencing to avoid dog, scooter users and child conflicts

Planned Works

Planned works are are subject to funding availability and are currently scheduled to be delivered by 2027. The works include:

• Improve functionality and safety of the plant area
• Upgrade pipework and reticulation infrastructure
• Replace the soft fall in wet areas
• Replace existing water jets with new interactive water features
